Copper-Clad Ambassador: It's Mostly Done

So, here is the result of some hard work. I did not have the strength to disassemble the carriage to paint it, so that might be another project entirely. In case you are curious about the paint, I used a copper-colored Hammerite. I think it was Krylon. I could check if you were very interested.

  1. That's awesome! I much prefer it to "Hermes corpse green." Well modded, my friend.

  2. With the covers on, the machine looks very impressive and sturdy. I like the color combination you got there!

  3. Very good job. I like the way the copper makes the Hermes green keys stand-out. The normal Hermes green gets kind of boring.

  4. Wow--"Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it," goes the saying...

But what about those who go back and jazz up the past? They escape doom and reverse entropy!

  6. How awesome. Definitely the most attractive Hermes Ambassador I have ever seen. I loved the way it looked without all the panels, but this is a huge step up from the all green monster it once was. Great job!
